wouldn't it be scary? if you did your super duper best for your A levels. you know you'd do well (can feel it i guess! roughly know at least). and then, something screws up and the person who keys in your marks keys it wrongly or there was an error in the marking. (yeah, wth!) but my tutor says, like systematic sampling, only some papers are checked. well, it happens every now and then in every other exam, but thing is, you know there is an error and afterwards find your teacher to edit it. but what if you were so suay and it happens to you for your A levels.

my maths tutor was scaring us just now. he says stuff like this really happens. OMGG, WHAT A NIGHTMARE! sorry to scare you but, im scared too you know. hahaaa, maybe im just scaring myself. but hey, there's a possiblitity you know! (okay, i shall not curse myself.)
and i realised we talk a lot during tuition =X

friday night i will switch on the aircon, switch off all the lights, put my phone far far away, get some food to munch on and im gonna cry cry cry my heart out watching this movie for the fifth time :D :D :D :D :D oh, look how well i've got it all planned out and i can't wait!! hahaa, i sound like a bozo emo, but no la, not emoing. i just want to watch my favourite movie lah :) a millionaire's first love.

oh and after that, i shall continue watching season 3 of that 70's show.

the z monster got hold of me today.
and he wouldn't let me go =X

went with mum to cut our hair in the morning.
mum went to do hair treatment. had to wait an hour for it.
i had nothing better to do cause i didnt bring anything except for my phone.
sat on the hairdresser's chair and slept. zzzzzzzzzz

went my cousin's house after that for mass birthday celebrations.
sister and my other cousin didnt come, so only little kids/aunties were avaliable to play with. nothing so much in common with uncles.
played with the little kids for a while. and chatted with aunties. got bored.
sat on the sofa and slept. zzzzzzzzzz

went home. switched on the tv.
national day parade. watched the marchpast (my fav part!) :D
fell alseep watching the rest of the parade. zzzzzzzzzz

whoa. all that happened in just one day.

but still, i think nothing beats me sleeping during the chingay parade.
being at the place itself, with all the people and the noise, and it supposedly being fun and my first time watching it, can't believe i did that. worst still ham let me do it. she didnt even try to wake me up! hahaaaa :D

can you believe it? little brother brought 12 pairs of the malay traditional costume to school yesterday so that his friends could wear for racial harmony day. being the only malay guy in his class, all his friends asked from him. 12 pairs! my dad said he even brought our grandfather's. hahaha. 12 pairs! i still can't believe it.

there was a reason why my mum had to do this to our window. see the scotchtape. bozo birds.i have no idea what they have against us that it keeps on coming back. amazingly, despite the window grills being scotchtaped they were smart and somehow tore the scotchtape and found it's way in. but one bird went overboard this time round: it ate up my apples. not the whole thing but im not gonna eat an apple that was pecked at by that bird. i hate birds (real birds)!! fine, only the ones that comes to my house and the ones that eats up our food in the school canteen. felicia, do me a favour and do your bird talking thing. tell them to at least not leave their feaces lying around. rahhh! thanks! shooo birds shooo!

my grandfather called my hamster a rat (he said it in malay: tikus) and ~~my hamster doesn't bite anymore~~ it just bit my brother. mona. i decided to name the fat one mona. it was the name of my mum's monkey. somehow i think it kind of fits the overweight hamster. the skinny one, i'll think of another name soon.

my study plan's done! with the help of darling jean. thanks truckloads! i've got loads to study in a day and only 42 more days to prelims!!! now comes the hardest part of it all: following the study plan. wish me best of luck!

hmmmm, what's with me and lists?

first it was 'My name is Earl.' and just yesterday i watched a movie: the bucket list :D not bad movie really. movie's about two guys with some terminal disease. and they come up with a list of stuff they wanna do before they die. pretty predicatable/simple movie but i like (: aiyahh, i can't help but love this kind of movies. you know, the kind of movies that makes you sit back and just say: ahhh, life is good.

been quite some time since i last reached home this late. tuition make-up. SLEEPY! we were so tired to the extent that the last few minutes of tuition the three of us started shooting answers though most of it was rubbish just so that we could complete the worksheet and go homeee. ah roy's too generous he's giving us extra tuition time. but im too tired to do anything else already! 1030pm okay.

and goodness, me and lj were late for tuition cause we took the wrong bus. hahaa, it's all stacie's fault. and poor dan kept on calling to ask where we were and had to entertain ah roy alone (:

it's really confirmed that dr's leaving. today was his last tutorial and 3rd june will be the last day he's gonna teach us. its depressing really. all good things come to an end? ):

the random last minute decisions that me and quek always make. wanted to just visit the study room just for a visit to have a look at the blood donation drive. however we randomly decided to ask them to help us check whether we can donate cause the last time we couldn't just because they can't find our veins. but we ended up filing up the form and before we knew it we ended up siting on the blue chair pumping blood into a bag. great sense of satisfaction :D

that wasn't the only cool thing that happened today. a few of us enjoyed a live commentary for the soccer match today just because lessons had to end at 1705h. penalty part onwards only though. suddenly a whole bunch of meridians were gathering in the study area. louis's friend was on the phone liasoning with someone on he other side.. and then he would scream "GOAL!" and all of us around him will scream "GOALLLL!." ahhhaa, hilarious. and oh yeah, we won! FINALS, HERE MJ COMES!

Many years ago, when I worked as a volunteer at a hospital, I got to know a little girl named Liz who was suffering from a rare & serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother, and asked the little boy if he would be will ing to give his blood to his sister. I saw him hesitate for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, 'Yes I ' ll do it if it will save her.' As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, as we all did, seeing her color returning to her cheek. Then his face grew pale and his smile faded. He looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, 'Will I start to die right away'. Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister all of his blood in order to save her. (:

i wonder what's in my brother's mind everytime he steps out of the house on his way to work.
because everyday there's a possibitlity of him seeing someone's life being taken away.

all these thoughts were triggered by jay's question a few days back regarding the emotional pain i would have to go through seeing people die, if i ever become a nurse. honeslty i dont know what to expect or whether it would be easy for me. but hey, to think of it i think i'd rather see all these than see the ugly side of life where people are competing for the stupidest things in life. (no offence to anyone!) haha, okay, im being biased again but i just can't imagine myself doing anything else than be a nurse. but actually every job has could affect you emotionally, so it's pretty much the same everywhere you go. and then again, if you look on the bright side, i get to jab all those needles into ya'all! :D that would be fun. haha but i guess, it wouldnt be so bad la, jay. if it was that bad, there wouldnt be any doctors or nurses left in the world ehh?

know what? if i ever get to be a nurse one day, i'll tell you what it's like okay? (:

and after school, we surprised dan with his birthday present. think he was quite stunned. cause yeah, after five, i spell, F-I-V-E days! im glad you liked the presents a lot though.

took the train with judith and small boy (yongzhi!) after that all and guess who we saw? (: okay, not important. turns out that yongzhi lives in the same block as my grandma. and he brought me through a shortcut! haha, he's so funny. we dont really talk much in school. hence we didnt have a common topic to talk about. it started out rather awkward. he started asking questions like: 'how old's your grandmother?' hahhahhaahahahhahahahhhahahha. burst out laughing when i heard that question. but after that, we chatted like nobody's business. he's nice to talk to really (:
